What did I let this world

A hollowed out shell
that hates everyone.

Cast into this crucible of existence.
Forgotten by a God who no longer cares.
Clutching to a hope that isn’t there.
Expelling the dream & living the nightmare.
Pathetic in this reviled disposition.
Harboring the guilt of generations.
Looking at the stars is easy from the gutter.
Used up, broken & slipping further.
Learning the meaning of silence.
The gloatful will always choke on their own words.
